Implementing an established set of comprehensive State-of-the-Art programs and services. Our programs encourage safety, fun, sportsmanship and development. Utilizing innovative and proven successful approaches to operations and management. Since 2014, we continue to foster development, collaborations, and nurture an atmosphere of "Discovering Your Game" for all.

Performance Pickleball LLC was founded in 2013 and is owned by Diana Abruscato, CPTP & CJPI, based in Southern California and provides contract services in Orange & Los Angeles Counties, and beyond. A Southern California native Diana began playing tennis in Lakewood, CA at just 9 years old, and throughout high school. As an adult, Diana competed in USTA Team Tennis as a 4.5 singles player and participated in leagues and tournaments throughout California. An unfortunate ankle break while surfing forced her to set tennis aside, as she "couldn't cover the court like she used to." Diana has dipped into basketball, soccer, racquetball, softball and road bikes over the years. Diana has been referred to as a "natural all-around athlete."
Performance Pickleball LLC is backed by education and professional experience by its owner. This includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications: Advertising in addition to a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton. She also received a "Professional Meeting Planning and Special Events" Certificate from CSUF. Currently, Diana is in the process of obtaining a Master of Arts Degree Sport Management from California State University, Long Beach to add to Performance Pickleball LLC and her team of professionals and in the pickleball arena. One of Performance Pickleball LLC's favorite events was managing the first year of their Pickleball Fundraising event in the Pyramid to raise funds for the CSULB Women's Basketball team.

In 2012, Diana found pickleball, began playing and competing in tournaments, and in 2014, she became a USAPA Ambassador (a volunteer position) for Huntington Beach and served in that role until 2019. She incorporated her prior professional experience as corporate Team Sports Marketing for a major athletic footwear, apparel and accessories manufacturer. She then extended her role as Tournament Director for USAPA (USAP) Sanctioned Tournaments for 6 years, and expanded coaching and teaching pickleball She began to develop Performance Pickleball LLC prior to the existence of any certifying instructional governing body, prior to professional players, and even before You Tube videos were available and became a contract pickleball provider for the City of Huntington Beach in 2013. Diana is also founder and president of a federally tax-exempt non-profit that serves the local pickleball community and currently a consultant for a parks & recreation park planning and architectural design company in Orange County.
In 2022, Performance Pickleball LLC started growing the team and added, Coach Russ (Miss you!), Coach Jaleh and Coach Travis, and many valuable volunteers along the way. Trained "Youth Specialty Instructors on the squad adds to the extensive services and introduced the first program in California adding Para-Pickleball having a professional certificate to host, train and enhance our ability to reach players that may need modifications to their learning and playing.
Performance Pickleball LLC consistently provides advanced professional State of the Art programs, growing with each passing year, adding instructors and continues to evolve as the sport evolves for our contracted partners and participants.
